On foot from our hotel. Our first contact with the lovely valleys and the spectacular geology of Cappadocia. (4hrs walking)
Day 3: Green Valley & Pigeon Valley : (vallée Verte - vallée des Pigeons)
After a short minibus transfer the lovely cool Vallée Verte - walking along sandy valley floors - takes us to the lively tourist centre of Goreme. Then we return via Pigeon valley and its wacky inaccesible dovecots (used for centuries to collect fertiliser). (6hrs walking)

Day 4:

Pink & Red valleys : (vallée Rose - vallée rouge)
Colours and colours. Layers and pillars of stone in a wonderfully photographic range of colours. Walking from Cavusin we follow a balcony trail to give great views over all of Cappadocia to the castle of Uchisar. (6hrs walking)
