About us at Adventure Treks

Ian has been walking, climbing, kayaking and skiing in the mountains all his life.

When not working for "High Places" as their Latin America specialist or for "Evolution 2" or other Guides Offices in and around Chamonix, he runs Adventure Treks in the Alps and in desert areas.


He speaks French and Spanish and has lived in Chamonix, France for 20 years. He is single and has one married daughter, Emma, and 2 grandchildren, Ronan and Eleanor.
