BOOKING CONDITIONS

OUR CONTRACT You must send a completed booking form and the deposit. A contract exists between us when we send you a booking confirmation.

PAYING The balance of the price must be paid on receipt of the final invoice, 8 weeks before departure. If this is not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel the holiday and keep your initial deposit.

HOLIDAY PRICE is based on the fixed price shown on the page and confirmed at the time you book. We absorb any currency fluctuations so you pay only this published price shown in, and payable in, £sterling.

IF WE CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY We will only cancel the holiday for reasons of « force majeure » OR because the minimum number of clients has not been reached (usually 5). If this happens we will refund your deposit but we will not be liable for any expenses you incurr before receipt of our final invoice such as flight arrangements and vaccinations.

IF WE CHANGE YOUR HOLIDAY It will be for reasons beyond our control OR because we believe we can offer a better holiday OR because, most likely, of snow or weather conditions which for reasons of safety require changes in the program. We reserve the right to make these changes but will discuss them fully with you. They are not acceptable as grounds for cancellation. No compensation wil be payable and no liability can be accepted.

INSURANCE As a condition of booking you must be adequately insured to include rescue, repatriation and all medical and hospital charges. Please use the booking form to notify us of your insurance details.

THE HOLIDAY is an adventure. It will take you to remote and exciting places where the risk of accidents and problems beyond our control is higher. For these reasons the itinerary should be seem as an aim rather than a definite objective. Your booking is accepted on condition that you realise and accept these realities of adventure holidays. We undertake to fully discuss all problems with you and to seek to arrive at an acceptable solution: but we can not be held liable for any refunds.

THE TREK LEADER. By signing the booking form you agree whilst on the holiday to accept the decisions of the Trek Leader who represents the company. If in their opinion your behaviour,performance or presence is detrimental to the safety and welfare of the group the leader may ask you to leave at any stage without recourse to any refunds.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. We agree to use all reasonable endeavours to provide the holiday as booked. However we are not liable for any act or default or omission on the part of any suppliers of any services that we offer. In no event shall our liability to you, the client, for the any loss or damage however arising exced the price paid for the holiday.

COMPLAINTS. If you have any complaint during the holiday you should talk about it immediately with the trek leader or the supplier so that remediale action can be taken. If it is still unresolved to your satisfaction by the end of the holiday you should notify us in writing within 30 days of the end of your holiday.. We will then do our best to resolve it.

JURISDICTION. The contract between us is governed in all respects by French law and French courts only shall have jurisdiction in relation to any claim or dispute.
